Coinciding with the Christmas of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in 2025, the World Buddhist Zhengxin Association Wenshu Monastery, the God of Wealth Hall, and the Golden Turtle Mountain Sanbao Hall in Taoyuan jointly launched the “Christmas Congratulations to Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and the God of Wealth Blessing Ceremony” on the 23rd of this month at the Shuren Hall of Chiayi High School.
The Avalokitesvara Ceremony will feature musical performances for Buddha, including performances by the Children’s Heart Music and Art Performance Troupe from Yunlin, the Douliuqiansui Taiko Drum Troupe, the Infinite Love Chamber Orchestra and the Kaohsiung Namasiti Dance Yueti Group. It is a superb performance.
During the Dharma Assembly, believers from all over the country chanted sutras respectfully and devoutly, and many distinguished guests came to participate in the grand event, wishing the Dharma assembly a complete success. Legislator Wang Meihui, Chiayi City Government Civil Affairs Office Director Lin Jiawei, Councilor Huang Luhui, Councilor Chen Jiaping, Councilor Fu Dawei Xu’s Special Assistant, Councilor Yan Lingxi Assistant Ye, Councilor Huang Siting, Huang Executive Director Dongchuan Lili Chief Ye Kuanhong, Mr. Du Zhaohui of the Buddhist Lay Association, etc. came to pray.
Zhuo Zhiyang, chairman of the association, said: Our association has guided Vajra Master to be a disciple of Dorje Chang Buddha III, the pope of world Buddhism, who preaches Dharma in Taiwan. Moreover, because Rinpoche was born in Chiayi, for more than 20 years, he has chosen to hold Dharma gatherings at Chiayi High School to pray for the place. Every year, the students in Chiayi Middle School have outstanding academic test scores. They are grateful to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for their blessings.
The association’s guidance, Vajra Master Hengxing Gyatso Rinpoche, stated that they would take care of disadvantaged families through practical actions such as “material donations”, “charity performances” and “prayer activities”. After the ceremony, nearly 300 gifts of love were sent to local marginalized households in Chiayi City. It is hoped that everyone who receives the gifts can feel the protection and blessing of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and change their careers.
