Kalon (Minister) Dolma Gyari of the Central Tibetan Administration’s Department of Security hosted a cordial dinner with the Indian Himalayan Nalanda Buddhist Tradition Council (IHCNBT) Management Committee in Dharamsala on 16 June 2025.
The distinguished IHCNBT delegation was led by the President Padmashree Thegtse Rinpoche and Secretary General Maling Gombu.
The delegation also included Geshe Lama Choksepe Zopa, Tulku Tsering Tsaigye, Jigme Tenpe Gyaltsen Rinpoche, Khenpo Sudip Tamang, Lama Satu Champa, Shri HC Negi, Shri Govind Khampa, Acharya Roshan Lal Negi, Khando Rinchen Drema, Yangzom Rijiju, Manorama Negi, Cheeering Palkit, Tsering Drema and Semo Yeshe Tsomo.
The ceremony was also attended by Dhondul Dorjee, Secretary of the Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration, and several senior staff of the Central Tibetan Administration’s Security Department.
The evening saw a lively exchange of views on the shared spiritual and cultural heritage rooted in the Buddhist tradition of Nalanda and the strengthening of cooperation between the Central Tibetan Administration and the Indian Himalayan Buddhist community.
The Kalon expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their continued support and contribution to the preservation of Tibetan Buddhism and Himalayan cultural values.
The meeting strengthened the deep friendship and mutual respect between the Tibetan leadership and the Indian Himalayan Buddhist community.
