Air India will start daily direct flights between Delhi and Gaya from September 1, 2025, using Air India’s A320 aircraft.
The new route will add Gaya to Air India’s 46th destination in its domestic network. This will improve connectivity to Gaya and support Buddhist pilgrimage tourism. Passengers from other Asian countries can fly to Delhi and then connect to Gaya, the nearest city to the Buddhist temple and site of Bodh Gaya.
Air India’s flight schedule to Gaya is well-matched to Kathmandu, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Haneda.
Flights can be booked through all channels, including Air India’s official website, mobile app and travel agents.
